Refreshing
Herbal Buttermilk
Ingredients
for 2 large glasses:
- 500
g buttermilk
- 30
g finely chopped herbs
to taste (dill, parsley, sorrel,
chives)
- 2
tablespoons freshly squeezed
lemon juice
- 1-2
tbsp omega-3 oil of
your choice
- 2
tablespoons sweet mustard
- mild
soy sauce
- pepper
from the grinder
Preparation:
Pre-cool the buttermilk in the refrigerator,
alternatively mix some ice cubes.
Mix buttermilk with chopped herbs
with a hand blender. Season with lemon
juice, omega-3 oil, mustard, soy sauce
and pepper and mix everything again
briefly.
Tip:
To vegan enjoyment just replace the
buttermilk by 200 g of soy
yogurt and 300 g soy
or grain milk.
